BP Starts Top Kill Procedure to Stop Oil Leak

BP Starts Top Kill Procedure to Stop Oil Leak

After over a month of spewing millions of gallons of oil deep into the Gulf of Mexico, BP has begun it’s “top kill” approach which requires jamming mud into the hole created on April 20. The trick is that the pressure of the mud being pushed into the pipe to stem the oil flow must exceed the pressure of the oil pouring out.

Scientists estimate that pressure to be about 5,000 psi (pounds per square inch)–more pressure than a scuba tank. And this procedure may force the oil to find new ways to escape through rock formations or by blowing a new hole in the pipe.

I have an idea for the oil spill that’s causing alot of enviroment conditions.

first to know is the bottom where the oil is leaking is on a flat plain or in a angle. If it is in a flat plain more than a 1000 sq acres, why not sacrifice an oil tanker by setting it on top of the pipe. But first cut a hole underneath the hull with gps installed to pin point the hole on top of the pipe having a release valve on top of the tanker with a hose attached to it and long enough to reach the surface towards the shore with other oil containers set on location ready to be used for storage then using tanker trucks lined up to be filled an taken to the nearst oil refinery. I know the ocean has alot of pressure strong currents, but even a tanker made of steal could be heavy enough to plug the cap at least slowing down the leak from going into the ocean.then slowly try using the submersable to fix the pipe inside the tanker to repair the problem at least the oil could be contain while repairing it. you have many solutions but they are failing. my idea is practicle so what other way you can resolve this problem. just a concerned citizen from the lower florida keys.

I am sending this message again maybe the first time did not get thru. please send a message about this idea. thank you
