Life used to fit into two categories. Plant or animal. Then we got complicated. Now we have three domains for all life. Bacteria, eukaryotes (plants, people and everything in between) and archaea. Archaea looks like a bacteria but its DNA is different. Now from the depths of Canada comes proof that archaea has been around for billions of years.
