Supercell Summer

A spate of spring storms is leaving many people wondering if this summer will be a brutal one. Scientists won’t make predictions about severe storms, hurricanes or heat waves. But if disaster strikes a new system develeoped from research at the San Diego Supercomputing Center will help people find loved ones online. The new Safe and Wellsite is up and running. After a recent tornado in Kansas thousands of people are flocking to the site to find out if their friends and family are indeed safe and well.
